Q:
We’d love to get your product but what do we do with this other vendors product that didn’t sell? We don’t want to invest or lose anymore money, do you have a solution?
A:
Don’t give up, GET CREATIVE!
The most important thing about Fun-Raising is to have fun so, make a sample to show, plan a get together with or without kids & moms, & pass out copies of these simple and easy to follow directions.
Here’s our secret:
What You’ll Need:
1 Old Tee Shirt
Scissors
Ruler
Straight Pins

1.
Lay your tee flat and cut the sleeve to your desired length. Cut off 2” above the hem from the bottom of the shirt. (Save fabric for step 6)
2.
Try on your shirt and measure the amount of fabric you would like to cut off from each side through both layers of the shirt. This could be from 3” to 6” depending on your desired fit and size.

3.
When you have determined how much you would like to cut, lay your tee flat and carefully cut along each side and stopping right at the end of the armhole.
4.
Use a pin on each side of the shirt to mark where the bottoms of the armhole should be.

5.
Starting from one of the pins, use the point from your scissor blade to poke small holes 1”-2” apart through both layers down the side of the shirt 1” from the edge of the fabric. Repeat on the other side.
6.
Remember that piece you cut off from step 1? Now you can put it to some good use! To make laces, Cut it across into horizontal strips (about 1” wide).

7.
Starting at the underarm, thread one strip through the two top holes- lacing and criss-crossing as you go. Tie the two ends in a bow or leave hanging at the bottom of the shirt.
8.
Repeat step 7 on the other side.
OPTIONAL: to make sleeves tighter repeat steps 2-7 on the sleeve stopping right before the armhole and tucking hanging strings in.
9,
Remove the pins and try on your tank.
So don’t just dress up, lace up with something way more flattering andstylish!
